How awesome is Ransom Rath?! The ending liner gets really distorted on anything but car speakers and headphones, though. It's the really low bass line. I'll leave that to you, eric.

I was also thinking about the anomaly that was free phones. I don’t think it was because of the simplicity of the phones, because a relatively basic flip phone then was the advanced cool phone versus the nokia candy bar, even though it may not have had a camera, it would probably have gone for around a $100 if the market was the way it is today. But free phones were needed to get the consumer that was on the fence to decide to get that first cell phone, that’s how it happened with me.

We’re at 96% saturation in our area. What motivation do we have to give away free phones? None. We provide two bottom end phones for that consumer that rarely uses the phone, but anyone that has talked 800min a month on their V3 for the past 3 years shouldn’t get upset when they have to spend $200 on a new one.

That’s another thing I don’t get, why aren’t people willing to invest in something that is now a necessity, $200 is a damn good price for a phone with GPS, 3G, a 2MP Camera, Phenomenal reception, MP3 Player, and a thin package (referring to the V9x).

I dunno maybe they feel they are paying too much a month to justify a $200 phone. But I bet you they spend as much or more on gas a month, and every few years most people will replace their cars for thousands of dollars…

I understand what phones people need, I just don’t understand why they aren’t willing to spend some money on these investments when they do with any other product.

What getting an iPhone 3G for free is that big of a deal? Whatever I'll just sell it and put that money towards my Palm Pre fund.
